Outside of these events; two pools, various lawns, and an onsite marketplace are available for all guests.

Reception
Dinner and drinks will be served on Winter’s Lawn followed by dancing. We’ll be serving dinner family style, inspired by our favorite restaurants and cuisines.
After Party
The party continues! As long as we don't make too much noise, we're welcome to continue the party at the Market Pool. After a dip, we’ll head to Adobe House.
We all know Matt’s not going to make it to a farewell brunch, so we’re not having one. Feel free to enjoy a dip in the pool, or light brunch available at the marketplace before heading home. We might be stumbling around if you want to say goodbye.
Palm Springs is served by the Palm Springs International Airport, which is a lovely airport to fly into. During this time of year, major cities like San Francisco and Chicago will have direct options. Smaller regional cities will have connecting flights through major hubs.
Downtown Palm Springs and Casa Cody are a 10 minute drive from the airport. Unless you plan on heading out of Palm Springs, we'd recommend skipping the rental car — both the hotel and downtown itself are very walkable, and ride share is plentiful.

Our welcome dinner is dressy casual and the wedding is cocktail attire. Please keep the weather in mind and be aware that most of the wedding day will be held on grass.
Sarah does not believe in the concept of “uPsTaGiNg ThE bRiDe”. Trust that we will be donning our best and are excited to see you in yours. This is your time to shine! Neon green ostrich feathers? A dress cut down to the naval? Velvet in the summer? All choices Sarah has made. Please come as your best self and have a little fun!
If you aren’t familiar with California, Palm Springs is located in the Coachella Valley (yes, that Coachella.) This is the desert, and the weather is different than you might be used to.
Daytime temps this time of year will be 90-100F, and there won’t be a cloud in the sky. That said, humidity is very low, meaning that 100F feels more comfortable than a muggy 80F day in the midwest. That said, you should still plan to wear sunscreen, stay hydrated, and dress comfortably.
Evenings cool fast after sunset, and may even become chilly depending on the daytime high. Expect temperatures in the low 70Fs a few hours after sunset, which will feel cooler than you might expect because of the lack of humidity.
Palm Springs has lots of great places to eat and drink. Some of our favorites are Koffi, Sherman’s Deli, Cheeky’s and Tac/Quilla.
There are lots of things to do within the city. The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is a classic, taking you from the desert floor to an elevation of 8500 ft in the San Jacinto mountains. In the city, the Palm Springs Art Museum, Palm Springs Air Museum, and Morton Botanical are a great place to spend a few hours.
Palm Springs is known for design, and you’ll find lots of shops that lean in. Mojave Flea Trading Post and The Shops at 1345 are a great place to pick up home decor & designer clothing. If you are looking for an edgy souvenir, The Michael Weems Collection won't disappoint.
Joshua Tree National Park, about an hour and a half away from Palm Springs, is one of our favorite national parks and is a great place to spend an afternoon. If you are feeling adventruous, It’s also one of the darkest places in North America, and is great for stargazing.
Unless you plan to leave Palm Springs, you will not need a car. Casa Cody is located two blocks away from the Palm Canyon road, which has plenty of restaurants, shops and bars. Uber is plentiful if you plan on doing activities within town.
If you are driving or plan on renting a car there are a few designated parking spots in front of the hotel and plenty of free street parking. Contrary to what Fox News might have tried to brainwash you with, no one will steal or break into your car. Matt parks his Porsche on the street, your rental Corolla will be fine.
All of our events, along with the hotel grounds, will be adults only for our weekend. If you are unable to travel without your children and plan to stay with them offsite, please let us know so we can re-assign the room we are holding for you to someone else.
After you complete your RSVP, the hotel will reach out with booking information. When the hotel reaches out to complete your booking, you can inquire about extending your stay. Please note that public rates for Casa Cody may be significantly higher than the rate we are able to offer for the weekend.
We worked with the hotel to offer rates that are significantly lower than the published rates. Rooms are around $300 per night, depending on the specific room and layout.
Just like we are making a seating chart we will be assigning rooms to keep family and friends near one another. The hotel will make sure you are assigned to the correct room at the time of booking.
All of our events, along with the hotel grounds, will be adults only.
Casa Cody doesn’t have enough rooms for all of our guests, and we’ve currently assigned out all of the available rooms. Additional rooms may become available as RSVPs come in, and we’ll let everyone know when they do.
Guests staying offsite are still able to use all of the hotel amenities during the entire weekend, including the pools. Palm Springs has lots of amazing hotels, including many that are steps away from Casa Cody.
Nope! We bought the whole thing out, so all of the pools, lobby cafe, and grounds will be open to all guests regardless of where they are staying for the whole weekend.
